`Bridging the gap´ is an intensive program organized by six universities from five different countries:
- Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen (Belgium)
- Central Ostrobothnia University of Applied Sciences (Finland)
- FH-Joanneum (Austria)
- HEPH-Condorcet (Belgium)
- Mondragon Unibertsitatea Management School (Basque Country – Spain)
- Hacettepe University (Turkey)
It´s a three-year program and it will finish in 2014. Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen was our host last year, and they are also in charge of the general organization in this second edition.
The aim of this IP is to boost interdisciplinary spaces by identifying common goals between Business Management and IT students. These two professional profiles are known to misunderstand each other once they are working at the same company. Therefore, in this program they have to manage to bridge the gap through different activities. During the following days we will be focus on CRM process, applications development and business process design. Besides, we will visit the corporate IT department of Philips (The Netherlands).
The IP is an enriching learning experience, not only in terms of professional issues but also (and mainly) related to personal aspects.
